Interview with Geneva Vikings Superfan James Prisco

As September begins and we start to settle into our daily academic routines, another fall staple is beginning to take shape: Viking Football. While the boys have been preparing every day on the field, senior Super-Fan James Prisco has been making preparations of his own.

Over the years, a passionate student section has been key to the successes of Viking Football, and James intends on this season being no different. “My goal is to take the section to a whole new level, and make it a season to remember for the class of 2015

”. Senior cornerback Jake Rocks offered up words of support, “I’m really excited to see what Prisco has in store for us. Having the fans participating really pumps the team up”.

To kick off the 2014 season, James, with help from fellow senior Hunter Sneed, has created Blue Crue t-shirts to be worn by students in support of the football team. If you have not received your shirt yet, they are still available for pick up this Thursday and Friday, September 11th and 12th, during all lunch hours at school.

For our home games this fall, James has planned vibrant section themes to highlight Viking school spirit. The September home games will consist of a “Black Out” on September 5th against Richards and a “Prep Out” on September 26th against Elgin.
