The Movie “Red Notice” is a good movie if you are into crime, mystery, and action movies. The movie first starts by defining the phrase “red notice” which means, the highest level of arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL). This list is reserved for the world’s most wanted criminals.

“Red Notice” features four main characters: FBI Agent John Hartley (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds), a renowned art thief, INTERPOL Inspector Uruashi Das (Ritu Arya), and Sarah Black/the Bishop (Gal Gadot, who is also famous for playing Wonder Woman), another renowned art thief.

The beginning scene of the movie tells what the movie will be about. It tells the tragic love story of Antony and Cleopatra and the three bejeweled eggs that Antony gifted Cleopatra on their wedding day. While many thought the eggs to be just a myth/rumor, a farmer in Cairo, Egypt discovered two of them, but the third one was never found.

Throughout the movie, Hartley and Booth team up together against the bishop to retrieve the three eggs before she does. The reason why they team up together was because after Booth stole the first egg from a museum in Rome, Italy, the bishop framed Hartley for the theft of it. After the bishop gained possession of the first egg in the museum, the two must work together to get the other two eggs so that they can put her behind bars.

The eggs are worth $300 million in total. Aside from getting the bishop arrested, Booth and Hartley’s main goal was to get the eggs to a man whose daughter was getting married and needed the eggs to gift to her groom.

My personal favorite parts of the movie is where Hartley and Booth are confronted by the bishop when they go to retrieve the eggs. I like these parts because they get into a huge fight with her over the egg to see who gets to it first. Another part that I liked about this movie was the ending, which was something that I personally did not expect coming.

Overall, “Red Notice” is a great movie with many twists and tons of action-packed scenes and a very unexpected ending in my opinion. If you are into crime, action, and/or mystery movies, then this is the one for you. 5 out of 5 stars!
