Oh, Valentine’s Day.  ‘Tis the season that (most) couples look forward to and singles can’t STAND. Here are some do’s and don’ts to make this Valentine’s Day unforgettable!

Do:

• Come up with something original
• Show your significant other that they are loved and appreciated
• Make use of classics like chocolate and flowers
• Take them on a fun date- go ice skating or to a local restaurant
• Visit special and memorable locations
• Enjoy yourself

Don’t:

• Give superficial gifts
• Make out in the hallway. Nobody wants to see that.
• Break up with him/her. That’s just sad.
• Be too safe
• Stress out over it

We’re high school students- don’t feel pressured to break the bank!  Most of us will be impressed with something thoughtful. If you show you care, that’s all that matters! Valentine’s Day is a day for love, happiness, and appreciation. If you keep that in mind you’re sure to have a successful February 14th!
