Clash of the Vikings preview
For the past few weeks, the hallways of Geneva High School have been decorated with posters for the upcoming Clash of the Vikings. Despite this, many students are unaware of the details of this new event. Clash of the Vikings is a variety show involving twelve of GHS’ clubs and teams. This has replaced the old tradition of Mr. GHS in order to allow a greater number of students to participate and include group performances. Every school club and sports team were invited to perform in this year’s Clash of the Vikings, and twelve groups have accepted. Here at Voyager we have compiled a list of the known participants and their events.

Drama Club: Comedic skit
GTV: The Dating Game skit

The entire event will be kicked off with a musical performance by Señorita Bach. There will also be a raffle for free prom or homecoming tickets and gift cards. The winners must be there when their name is called or else the prize will go to the next person, so don’t leave until after the raffle! Your entrance fee of $3.00 enters you in this raffle, and the proceeds go to funding Prom 2015 as well as the American Cancer Society. In between acts will be the annual Prom Preview and a bake sale. All of the money raised at the bake sale will go to American Cancer Society.
Clash of the Vikings will start at 7:30 pm in the Contest Gym this Thursday, February 12, however the doors will be open as soon at 7:00 so come in early to make sure you get a good seat. There will be lots of fun and interesting performances, so don’t miss out!
