Thinking of starting your Christmas shopping early? Do the deals and steals of Black Friday entice you to cut your Thanksgiving short? If you remain undecided, here are some pros and cons of embarking on your potential Black Friday shopping excursion.

Pros:

• The deals! Pretty self-explanatory, but this day is one of the few times within the year you can buy the same products for super cheap.
• A lot of people go because it’s actually fun despite the long lines and all.
• Satisfaction. Black Friday shopping may make us want to pull our hair out or may make us actually pull our hair out, but the excitement and the rush of finding a good deal is enough to make all the chaos worth it.

Cons:

• Quality of actual products goes down because the companies mass produced the items very fast right in time for Black Friday.
• Stores try to out compete each other with their opening times. Some stores open on the night of Thanksgiving. This makes employees stuck in work and customers out shopping on Thanksgiving Day instead of with their families at home.
• All the PEOPLE! It is to be expected with all the deals and advertisements that it’s going to be crowed, but it is more of how people act on this day. Mobs of people run, push, fight and trampled on one another just for that special deal.
